Looqee Community Terms
These Community Terms apply to everyone who uses the Looqee mobile app operated by Ludusoft Studios. By using Looqee you agree to them. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy.
Looqee has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Content or behaviour that breaks these terms is removed and the people responsible are removed from Looqee.
Who can use Looqee
You must be 18 years or older to use Looqee. If you are under 18, do not use the app.
What is not allowed
In conversations, private messages, nicknames, avatars and profiles you must not post or send:
- Harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation of any person.
- Hate speech or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- Sexual content, unwanted sexual advances, or requests for intimate images.
- Any content that sexualises minors. We report such content to the authorities.
- Encouragement of self-harm or suicide, or glorification of violence.
- Spam, scams, impersonation, or attempts to collect other people’s personal information.
- Illegal content, or content that promotes illegal activity.
Reporting and blocking
You can report any message, conversation participant or profile directly from the app, and block any user so they can no longer contact you. We review reports within 24 hours. When content breaks these terms we remove it and eject the user who posted it.
Automatic timeouts and permanent bans
When several people in a conversation report the same user, Looqee automatically removes that user from the conversation:
- First time: removed from the conversation and timed out for 10 minutes.
- Second time within 24 hours: removed and timed out for 60 minutes, with a final warning.
- Third time within 24 hours: the account is permanently banned.
Our moderators can also remove users from any conversation and ban accounts at any time after reviewing reports.
Appeals
If your account is banned you can submit one appeal per ban from inside the app. We review each appeal and let you know the decision in the app. If an appeal is accepted the ban is lifted; a declined appeal is final.
Filtering
Looqee filters common offensive words in conversations. Filtering is not perfect, so please report anything objectionable you see.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Community Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date.
